JDM Nissan R35 GT-R: Owners Note's Brochure, Maintenance + Pick Up Schedule

In my continuing coverage of a Japanese R35 GT-R buyer's process of pre-ordering his car here and here. I bring you the latest update from him and some of the material he has been receiving from Nissan. (click images to enlarge)

There are now more concrete information regarding when the car will be available for pick up in Japan, as follows:

• Confirmed out-of-factory date: Dec 1st~2nd, 2007.
• Registration date: Dec 7th, 2007.
• Car ready for pick up: Dec 14th~15th, 2007 (about a week after registration).

A more official maintenance schedule has been released with the expected cost of all the maintenance items. New owners will have an option to buy the "GT-R High Performance Program" for 200,000 JPY (items included in the program are highlighted in red and ends at the 30th month of ownership).

• oil change (includes oil cooler): 18,000 JPY
• oil + filter change (includes oil cooler): 23,000 JPY
• brake pad + rotor change [rotors and brake pads are changed at the same time to ensure performance] (4 wheels): 500,000 JPY
• tire change (run flats, 4 wheels): 600,000 JPY

An "Owner's Notes" brochure has been issued to the soon to be owners describing information regarding maintenance and other services. Included in the brochure is the service offered at the Nissan High Performance Center and their locations, information on the GT-R High Performance Program, GT-R maintenance schedule and a brief description of the "CARWINGS" system/service (a Nissan factory SatNav system/service).
